Kindergarten Registration and Round-up Events

Hello Moses Lake Families,

We’re excited to welcome our newest learners to the Moses Lake School District! Round-up events are open to all incoming kindergarten students. We encourage you to attend.

Register for Kindergarten

Kindergarten registration is now open. Families can register online by visiting www.mlsd161.org/enrollment, or in person during a Round-Up event.
If you plan to register at a Round-Up event, please bring:

Child’s immunization record
Birth certificate
Proof of residency (current bill with physical address)

If you have a child starting kindergarten this fall, we invite you to attend Kindergarten Round-Up.
Date: Thursday, April 16, 2026
Time: 5:00–6:00 p.m.
Locations: All MLSD elementary schools

What is Kindergarten Round-Up?
Kindergarten Round-Up is a special event designed to help children and families take their first step into the school experience. During this one-hour event, you and your incoming kindergartener will have the chance to:

Visit your neighborhood elementary school
Meet kindergarten teachers and school staff
Participate in fun, hands-on activities
Receive important information about registration, school routines, and what to expect this fall

Why it matters:
This event helps children feel comfortable and confident about starting school, while giving families a valuable opportunity to ask questions, learn about daily routines, and begin building connections with school staff. Starting strong sets the stage for a successful school year—and we’re here to support you every step of the way.
